Refund & Return Policy

We want you to love your Scribbles by Marcy purchase! If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read our policy below for details on returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Physical Products (Books, Bundles, Merchandise)
30-Day Return Window: You may return physical products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
Condition requirements:
- Items must be in their original condition, unused, and undamaged
- Books must not have writing, markings, or significant wear beyond what occurred during shipping
- Items must be returned in their original packaging when possible
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number) is required
Damaged or defective items: If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will send a replacement at no additional cost or issue a full refund including shipping.
Digital Products (Printables, Activity Packs)
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of downloadable items (printable activity sheets, lesson plans, conversation cards, etc.) are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed.
If you experience technical issues downloading your digital purchase, please contact us and we will assist you in accessing your files.
Scribbles Club Memberships
Free tier (Little Scribbler): No payment involved — you may cancel at any time.
Paid tiers (Scribble Explorer, Scribble Champion):
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then
- We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period
- If you cancel within 7 days of your first subscription payment and have not used any membership-exclusive content, you may request a full refund
Bundles and Gift Sets
Bundles must be returned as a complete set. We cannot accept partial returns of bundle items. If one item in a bundle is damaged, we will replace that specific item.
How to Request a Return or Refund
To initiate a return or refund, please:
- Email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Ship the item(s) to the address provided in our response
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund
Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive the returned item(s). You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
Shipping costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange items for a different product of equal or lesser value. If you would like to exchange for a higher-priced item, you will be responsible for the price difference. To request an exchange, follow the same process as a return.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again
- Contact your bank or credit card company — processing times vary
- If you've done both and still haven't received your refund, contact us at [email protected]
